The GM Free Nillumbik Group (GMFN)
The GM Free Nillumbik Group shares information about genetically modified foods and crops. Given a growing body of evidence on adverse health and environmental concerns with GM foods GMFN is asking Nillumbik Shire to consider declaring this region GM free.
The group is in its infancy at the moment and planning a big community info night on Monday, 20 October at the Eltham Community & Reception Centre, 801 Main Rd Eltham.
The group meets at Allwood House, Hurstbridge every Tuesday night now, but this will change after the meeting.
